Week of Thrifts: Day 2 Mod

From my weekend thrifting trip, I also got this mod black and white dress by LAUNDRY by Shelli Segal:

Slightly modernized with a wide, patent-leather, white belt and ankle booties


Just boots - I err on the side of simplicity

    I like the Banana Republic boot look better. I love vintage Laundry dresses. I have a red velvet one which is now too big for me but I'm actually considering altering because I can't part with it. Or, I guess I could just go on a serious donut binge :P

    Ankle boots are hideous. I can't understand why they would be fashionable again. They only look kind of okay in super skinny tall top models.
