French Pedi - You Likey?

I remember that sometime back in college, I learned of the wonderful world of spa pedicures - especially french pedicures!

They're a pretty big deal in the south, but I'm curious...are french pedicures popular where you're from? Do tell yes or no and (if you don't mind) - what area you're referring to - even if you just vacationed somewhere and happened to notice, it'd be interesting to see! If you don't want to tell your specific area, a general area will work - i.e. Northeast, etc.

i personally like french manicures. it looks neat and clean. i haven't noticed others' manis or pedis lately but the supposed trend in l.a. is black/dark nailpolish.

oh yea, for sure...I love how simple yet pretty french pedis look. i haven't seen anyone paint their toenails w/ dark polish - well, not in person, I've noticed it on some celebs though.

I grew up in small-town Northern BC, Canada, where there was to my knowledge nowhere to get a manicure or pedicure in town.

I now live in Vancouver and every block has a nail salon...I've still never had a mani or pedi so I can't vouch to whether or not French pedis/manis are popular. I do see a lot of people wearing bright colors on their toes. If I were to get one I'd probably get a french manicure just because I like the delicate, demure style of it.

I love french manicures i think they look nice but i don't like VERY long nails I think its tacky nails should be well kept, neat, clean and either light pink or beige colours for everyday wear... thats just my personal opinion though (New Zealand)

They're HUGE here in VA. I don't do manicures (only once because a sister convinced me for recruitment), but nearly every other girl seems to have them here.

Well I'm a Houston girl (although I now live in San Fran) and french pedis have been popular for as long as I can remember. I myself get them frequently and rarely get colored polish.

I like them on the hand but find they look odd on the feet - like the nail has grown too long!
i just like red on the feet....its the only colour i like.

Here in the midwest (kansas city) the French Pedi has been around for awhile. I love the fresh clean look!
