V-Tech Outfit Today

People everywhere wore maroon and orange today to show sympathy and support for the victims killed Monday on the day Virginia Tech is calling "Orange and Maroon Effect Day." My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims, so I wanted to show what little support I could. Here's what I wore:

I realize the sweater isn't exactly maroon, but I don't have anything that color in my wardrobe...nor do I have gold, so this was the best I could do last minute, and I did want to show support today. I guess the leopard print shoes have some gold in them...kinda sorta.

Did anyone else wear maroon and gold today?

I wanted to, but I don't have anything in those colors either, which surprised me.

I dont think it was appropriate to hightlight your fashion choices especially when it wasn't the right color(s).

There go those haters again.

Anyways, I think that outfit is super cute, and the leopard shoes were a nice touch. And I feel you, I don't own those colors either. haha.

I know, Jessorz! Where are they all coming from...or is it just the same person? Hmmm...thanks for the compliment!

The boy and I both wore maroon Friday.

He lead a discussion class in the morning, so it made particular sense for him to since we're in VA.

I just wore an old DZ/TKE tshirt because it's the only maroon I could find.

Wanting to show my support because I work at another VA university, I wore a Boden dress from last season (the chic tie-back dress) which is plum but very close to maroon and a J Crew cardigan in fresh tangerine (not gold but orange).
