Business Chic: A Classic

Here's what I'm supposed to wear to the bank:

Pretty boring stuff, huh? I kinda like it once in awhile, but I don't know about wearing it every single day. I do feel more professional in this outfit, though, and I have to admit, Brooks Brothers makes a fine button down. Especially when the button down is non-iron...awesome!

Shirt: Brooks Brothers
Pants: Banana Republic
Shoes: Christian Louboutin

I feel your pain! I've worked in places with really dull dress codes too and they're not much fun.

I've actually been looking for things that can be used to accent boring work outfits on my own blog.

It'd be great if you could stop by and let me know what you think!

My latest find is a cute envelope necklace that's interesting but also small and silver so it should be OK for a conservative office.

Plus my fellow Bargain Queen Meg has also found some great office-safe stuff. This black dress is very Audrey Hepburn, so definitely classic enough that your boss couldn't object ;)

Hope this helps, D. and good luck at the bank!

Hey Sara,

Thanks for stopping by! I think that envelope necklace is adorable. But as for the black dress, while i love it personally, they would object! I can't wear sleeveless! :( they're very strict at the part of the bank where I'm currently working. I would buy that to wear on my own, though!
