This past weekend, I dropped some earrings off at a boutique that will start carrying my jewelry designs (under my jewelry biz, D Celestine - http://www.dcelestine.com). I wanted to wear something professional, but pretty. I decided to go with my new Forever 21 top I scored in my thrifty shopping spree awhile back.
I tried tucking the top into my skirt...
And, I tried leaving it out...
But I'm not sure which way I like better. I probably would have worn these with my skinny black jeans if it weren't so darn hot outside! Anywho, what do you think? Does it look better tucked in or out?

I vote for tucked in.
Thanks for the vote, Wendy! :) D
I do, too!
Thanks l!! :) D
Pulled out, definitely.
I had to look a few times to decide but I definitely think it looks better tucked IN AND I would add a black patent belt to it. Looks pretty.
I like both, but tucked in looks more professional. Untucked it looks like you're going for an evening out.
ditto for me! more polished
tucked in!
that's my new favorite style, a flowy blousy blouse tucked into a slim skirt.
looks fab!
I like it untucked.
Have you tried it with a belth?
I say untucked, but wear a black or red belt to cinch in the waistline!
I have always wanted a rosette top like your's. I vote tucked in.
Thanks for the vote, Kristen!
Amethyst - we are so on the same page - I thought about adding a patent leather belt, but didn't get around to it...lol.
Very interesting observation, Zoesmom - I agree!
I like being "polished" Natali!
Thanks Style-ish - I wish the top weren't quite so long, but I think with the right skirt, it won't bunch too much underneath. I have seen lots of flowy shirts tucked in lately, it seems.
Hi D'Rae - not yet, but I should!
Amanda - maybe I should do another "photo shoot" with a belt since a lot of people are suggesting that. I do love a nice belted waistline!
Hey Wendy - try Forever 21 - that's where I got mine!

Hi there,
It will look better untucked if you dress it up with a metallic belt to break the black and white monotone.
It looks good tucked in too, you could try adding an eye-catching metallic bracelet.
I like reading your blog :)
Tucked in! :)
Very nice, babe! Thanks for reading!
Thanks for the vote, The Daily Obsession!

great blog and very useful info.
Thanks
as like what they've said, the tucked in was/is much better, not only because it looks professional but it also show the curves of your hips... nice dress, it suits you just right...
